I started Trafalgar Lighting Ltd in 1983 based in my parents garden shed. At that time I was by myself had four lanterns and a bank overdraft. These days  as you will see I have some colleagues, several hundred more lanterns, decent premises, but have kept the overdraft.

When I started it was with the intention of being a theatre lighting hire company, and this is still a major part of our business, although the customer base has widened considerably from just theatres to include TV Shows, Schools, Amateur Dramatics, Retailers, Event organizers, Conferences, Product launches. The list goes on 

We have added a wider range of products, diversified with Sound Equipment, Power Distribution, and most recently Video, as well as Starcloth's and Tabs.

Like so many other companies we also sell and install equipment. Where we differ is that we offer free advice, based upon our extensive experience as a user of equipment.
